Visit one of our Espaces BlueLy or the BlueLy visitor and information centre in Lyon : 5 place Aristide Briand 69003 Lyon

Take :

> your driving licence
> some identification (a French ID card or a valid passport)
> a bank card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard).

Register yourself and choose your package.
After your transaction has been approved, you will receive a personal badge that gives you access to the BlueLy service.

An advisor will be on hand to assist you at all times.

2 - Je loue
Location

Take your approved personal badge to the hire point of your choice and collect your Bluecar.

> Scan your badge over the reader in order to unlock the Bluecar.
> An LED indicates whether the operation has been successful (green) or not (red).
> Unhook the charging cable and ensure that it is stored correctly and that the charging point cover is closed.

Enter the Bluecar and turn the ignition key.

> Check the battery range and check the condition of the car.
> If there are any problems, declare them to the call centre via the rental kiosk before driving away.

How do you return your Bluecar? At the rental station of your choice.

The BlueLy service is based on the principle of car-sharing.

> Once the car is parked, you swipe the charging point.
> Then all you need to do is unroll the cable and plug in your Bluecar.
> Hire ends when the car is properly connected and the charging point cover is closed.
> The Bluecar’s doors must be locked. This happens when you swipe your personal badge over the reader in order to lock the Bluecar. It is no longer possible to start the vehicle. You are still allowed to reopen the car doors in order to remove personal items if required.

N.B: When you pick up or return your Bluecar, you are responsible for connecting the charging cable that runs to the charging point. Disconnecting and reconnecting the vehicle cable is what activates and terminates the rental counter. All you have to do is follow the instructions carefully to ensure the service runs smoothly.
